Who knows a good home remedy for this?

Question 1
Who knows a good home remedy for this?...  Yesterday, I got stuck changing a flat tire in the rain.... in mocassins. The water went through the shoes, through the socks, and my feet were soaked. I dried them as soon as I got home, but my throat feels like it's going to start hurting. What would be good to eat or drink to avoid getting really sick? Thanks a lot.

Answers
1)   zinc - chairshot

2)   This is gonna sound gross but gargle warm salt water - Breanna

3)   green tea, or earl grey tea with lemon. :) and food, well, I'm not sure - Daniella

4)   some hot tea would be good or some warm soup - Marissa Zupancic

5)   In Such a case I would recommend green tea sweetened with local honey. The tea cleans the toxins out of your body and works as a emunity booster, the honey (locally produced) helps fight local sicknesses and allergies as well as soothes and calms imflametory in the throat. I use this and it always works, quite quickly too.

I'm trying pot for the first time, any tips?...  Don't tell me not to do it because my mind is made up.

1)   Hold it in! Remember "Cough, and you get off". Be cool about it though, no driving or otherwise doing dumb shit that will end up killing you. Have fun! - med_assnt

2)   don't do anything stupid! oh wait your about to try pot too late (; - Breanna

3)   Marijuana sucks other than a preload or postload. Go roll at a pretty girl's birthday party, and smoke a J on your comedown. Thats where its at. As far as weed goes, bring some eyedrops and such. And make some delicious food to accompany your high. - Gordon Shumway

4)   Try to find somewhere to smoke like at a friends cuz it sucks to have to do it in your car. Also joints aren't as good as a bowl or bong so try to get one of those. Most of all have fun! - dgibbs

I wonder where the studies are for wiping your ***. Maybe they don't bother. - thenoseknows

Question 4
What is the vitamin that helps you heal faster/better?...  I was thinking it was B or E?

I want to get a piercing done and if this would help at all heal efficiently or faster. If not then whatever, but what's the vitamin?
Thanks! :)
It's for ingesting, maybe it would help? If not I'll do the aloe thing. :)

Answers
1)   I think it's K or C but idk I'm not a doctor - George

2)   E if you are putting it on the piercing. Aloe with vitamin E would be best. - nonentity

3)   Vitamins C and D both promote healing, and vitamin E also helps. Of these, vitamin C is the most important.

Old sailors used to suffer from Scurvy, a disease caused by lack of Vitamin C. The very first symptoms were cracking of the skin at the corners of the mouth, and then the lack of wound healing.
Even today, if people are short of vitamin C, they can suffer from poor wound healing and soreness/cracking at the corners of their mouths - maybe not enough to send them to their doctors, but a sure sign of lack of vitamin C. - grannysan

4)   Vitamin C! This even helps you recover from illness quicker, even the common cold =D - Amy Manley

Sore Throat Ears Fever Help?...  My boyfriend is having a REALLY hard time swallowing and when he does it hurts his ears and head. My first reaction was strep but he says it doesnt feel scratchy like strep nor does he have the little white bumps in the back of his throat. He's running a fever and is fatigued. Any ideas as to what this could be?

1)   You should use naproxen, it is the best about it you can get information from here http://usmedans19.notlong.com/1AA5sns - Elodia Meyer

2)   about it you can get information from here http://canmdh15.notlong.com/AA5snsF - Timmy Roesslein

3)   I have had basic viral infections (colds) that produce these symptoms. Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything that clears the symptoms up immediately (if such a thing exists!). Mind you, it could be the flu. Either way, if it is viral a trip to the doctor wouldn't do much (antibiotics are for bacterial infections). As a non-health professional, I would recommend Nyquil and/or lots of tea (honey and lemon), throat spray and plenty of rest! It is also good for him to talk as little as possible, to let his throat rest too. Hope this helps. - K K

4)   maybe he has tonsillitis check and see if his tonsils are swollen if so tell him not to talk for a few days AT ALL. I did it it worked and to be honest it was kinda fun lol - Breanna
