I smoke pot, is this wrong?

Question 1
I smoke pot, is this wrong?...  I don't even use it to get high (Technically) , you see, I'm on dialysis and have been for about 3 years. After dialysis, I feel sick and nauseous and no appetite. When I smoke, all these symptoms go away. I'm 26 years old, and I shouldn't be this sick (I was born with kidney disease) Is it wrong that I use this to cure all my symptoms ? Cure is a strong word, take a break is better way of describing it.

Question 2
QUESTIONS ABOUT WEED.?...  okay so, im 15, and i smoke about three times a week.
And i thought it was just a good time, and nothin to worry about.
But now i have no motivation what so ever to do anything! To clean, to do homework, to study, to workout. anything! I used to do all those things, and now not so much... I hate it! But i also love smoking. And my mood is changing, i was always a really happy girl but now im more sad and mad. And i am a beotch a lot to people! My mind is going into a state of " i don't give a fuhk"
Is this because of weed?
Is this normal?
ANY WAYS YOU COULD HELP?
what are the effects of weed emotionally and physically?

Answers
1)   You want an answer? GO GET SOME REAL HELP. - Mika Nunayourbisnus

2)   You not giving a "fuhk" has nothing to do with weed, I've smoked waaaaaaay more than you and still have motivation. You're 15...most 15 year olds don't give a sh*t. - RDWHAHB

3)   Sounds like typical teenage moodyness to me. Maybe you need to smoke a different strain of dope. I was generally more productive and emotionally stable when I smoked cannabis sativa every day or two, but cannabis indica strains tended to make me lethargic and apathetic.

Despite decades of government-funded research tainted with a blatant agenda of trying to "prove" marijuana is somehow dangerous, there is still no credible, reproducible evidence that it is causes any long-term harm, physically nor mentally. If you're really concerned about how it might be aggravating the common moodiness associated with being a teen, then stop smoking for just a week. Give your bi-weekly quarter-ounce purchase a miss and find other things to do. Do some pushups and situps instead of hitting the bong. It's not like alcohol or heroin withdrawal, you won't have screaming hallucinations and seizures. - m0dernangel

4)   Yes- it's because of the marijuana. This "I don't care" feeling can actually cause long-term damage if you smoke everyday. Weed is a depressant (over time, not immediately). You should really try to stop smoking, you're noticing these changes in yourself, and you know that you don't want to be "this girl" anymore, right? - Itsjustme

5)   i doubt its got anything to with weed at this stage maybe if you start smoking more - Tyrone Rodgers

6)   You shouldn't smoke weed untill after your brain has finished developing. I think the average human brain stops developing around 16/17 so... yeah you shouldn't be smoking it.

And it probably does have a 'lazy' affect on you, but I think that's just part of being a teenager tbh. - bobbycat

Question 4
Natural sources of vitamin D for deficiency?...  I was recently diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency and was also told I needed a prescription. I have never been able to swallow pills and I just end up crying from the pain and from my parents yelling at me, so what would be some good sources of vitamin D? Ones with more vitamin D would obviously be preferable.
I live in Chicago and am outside for at least 20 minutes a day but the real issue is Chicago's cloud cover. I don't get enough staying outside, and yes I do have that much trouble swallowing pills.

Answers
1)   Here are some sites that list foods rich in vitamin D:

http://www.algaecal.com/vitamin-d/vitamin-d-sources.html
http://nutritiondata.self.com/foods-000102000000000000000.html - Fridays

2)   Wow, how big are these pills? I'm vitamin D deficient too and I take NOW Vitamin D, 1,000 I.U. and they're tiny. The best way to get the vitamin D you need is to sit out in the sun for fifteen to twenty minutes per day. Eggs are a natural source of vitamin D. Look into those supplements. You can find them online and they might be much easier to swallow than the prescription you're on. - Jaime

3)   Get out into the sunshine. The body can make its own Vitamin D. Alternatively Vitamin D capsules are fairly small and go down easily. - Jay D

4)   The sun is the best source. Small amounts of vitamin D can also be found in eggs and some fish (e.g. salmon and tuna). Some products like some types of milk have been fortified with vitamin D. These food amounts are usually quite small, though. If you have a severe deficiency, it would be much more practical to just learn how to tolerate pills. This may help you later in life if you ever have to take a medication that doesn't come in another form. Put the pill in your mouth and then take a big drink of water, and swallow like you normally would - pretend the pill isn't there. Don't try to swallow the pills with your parents, since that would probably make you feel stressed. - Cicely

5)   Hi Missy. You received a lot of inaccurate information about Vitamin D.

First, in Chicago, because of the low angle of the sun during winter, your skin cannot make any Vitamin D. Based on medical research done in Boston, you are unlikely to get any Vitamin D production from the sun from Nov. 1st until at least mid-March.

So, your only option is supplementation. Vitamin D pills are very small, but if you are not able to take them, you still have a couple of options. 1) break open the Vitamin D capsule and pour the contents on your food or in your drink, and 2) Cod Liver Oil.

Cod liver oil may be your best option. Take one or more spoonfuls per day (yes it tastes like fish). There is a risk of getting too much Vitamin A from high doses of Cod Liver Oil. However, there are products with low Vitamin A content, from Carlson Labs for example. You should be able to purchase it from a local health food store. Or, you can order from the company. See the link below.

Question 5
are stem cells being used for joint regeneration yet?...  i need them .

Answers
1)   i dont know - Laura

2)   No stem cells (aside from bone marrow) are being used for any real treatment.

There are "clinics" that perform stem cell therapies by just injecting what they claim are stem cells into patients. Aside from the fact that would never work, just injecting stem cells is likely to cause cancer. - Weise Ente

3)   Actually, Weise is wrong. There are more than one type of stem cell. All the uproar has been about using embryonic stem cells. However, there are now clinics using adult stem cells, harvested from your own body and cultured in the lab, to regenerate cartilage. I actually know someone who has had this done successfully on his knee last year in Melbourne. It is also being used by a few clinics to treat non-union of broken bones (rather than the standard bone graft with growth hormone).

I've included a few links, including those historical articles regarding the trials in Melbourne, Australia. The clinical trials occurred nearly 3 years ago.
