7)   Hello,

I find that the best thing to wipe out a sore throat is mega amounts of Vitamin C. In large amounts, it is natures most powerful antiviral, and I have never had a sore throat that didnt meet its death with large amounts of vitamin C.

I would take 3,000-4,000mg of vitamin C until you reach bowel tolerance (feeling of gas, bloating), which indicates that you are saturated with the vitamin. When sick, people can tolerate upwards of 30,000mg+ per day without any problem. This has been made popular by the late Dr. Linus Pauling, winners of 2 unshared Nobel awards, and is commonly known as Orthomolecular medicine. It has been moved forward by Dr. Andrew Saul and you can find more info at www.doctoryourself.com. Best of all, vitamin C helps with over 300 different metabolic functions in the body and is 100% safe with no side effects. I hope this helps! - costaricanNONI

8)   Best way to eliminate is to not treat symptoms at all. Go to the root cause. Once you eliminate that, you don't need band-aids to address the symptoms. - a4adam

Question 3
what is a natural alternative to the tetnus shot?...  Are there natural herbs or products that prevent blood infection?

Answers
1)   Honestly no there aren't. Most herbal remedies haven't been proven to be effective for many things unfortunately.

When it comes to tetanus, I highly recommend that you get the shot; tetanus is not pretty and the shot has almost no risk of complications - dreamcatcherjm24

2)   Considering the fact that Clostridium tetani is the deadiest bacteria known to mankind, getting the vaccine becomes paramount. If infected without the vaccine on board, treatment is often difficult and death is eminent.

There are no known alternative method to the vaccine. - Ronald

3)   There is no substitute for the tetanus shot. Nor is there any need for one, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with the tetanus shot.

Having said that, if you want to be technique about it, there is also nothing particularly “un-natural” about the tetanus shot – it’s simply a little piece of a bacterial toxin (bracteal toxins are natural) which they inject into your body. Once your body is exposed to it you begin to build antibodies which fight off the vaccine, but also, once you have those antibodies they will exist forever and they will fight off the real thing if you are ever exposed to it.

See, this is the problem with all you idiots who always stick to “natural stuff”. You forget that some of the safest things in the world are artificial, and some of the most dangerous are natural (how about snake venom for example? It’s completely natural, you should add some to your breakfast).

The vaccine you are worrying about has been extensively studied and it’s had THOUSANDS of clinical trials performed on it. On the other hand, the natural shit that you would prefer has been picked from a garden and fed to a bunch of idiots (eg. you). Which do you think is safer?

EDIT: Plus I agree with what Ronald just said above me (although technically I’m fairly sure toxin made by Clostridium botulism is more deadly if you measure potency by lethal dose in mL's).

EDIT again: Thenoseknows (bellow me) is sooooo WRONG that it's hard to know where to start. For a start the incidence is low because of immunization. In the pre-immunization days the disease was very common. Secondly no one has to bleed on the ground - the bacteria which causes tetanus can live in the ground all by itself - it doesn't even need people to live there! Thirdly, if you need any further evidence about how uneducated this idiot is, hydrogen peroxide is not “basically oxygen” at all. That’s as stupid as saying that diamond is basically graphite – sure they’re made from the same element but they have very very different properties. Hydrogen peroxide does NOT have similar properties to oxygen gass....for a start, one exists naturally as a liquid and the other exists naturally as a gass. The reason this idiot is confused is that he heard someone say that hydrogen peroxide was a powerfull "oxidising agent" (which it is). Oxygen gass, on the other hand, is not a powerful oxidising agent. This guy is clearly an idiot, and the fact that he is advising you not to immunise makes him a dangerous idiot. - Samual Bobster Man

4)   muscle spasms and ultimately death. trust me if there was a better way to prevent tetanus we would already be using it. but so far all we have are cranks and people without an understanding of medicine making claims and dodging the need to show evidence by simply claiming that its "natural", just because something is natural doesn't mean its good, a tetanus infection is the natural result of C. tetani, a bacteria, entering the body. - evirustheslaye

5)   There is none. - Flizbap 2.0

6)   It's "Tetanus".
The natural alternative is to immediately wash any cuts/abrasions with hot soapy water and apply hydrogen peroxide (which is basically oxygen). Just common sense.
You can find out what the incidence rate is in your locality. In the U.S. for example, only about 100 people a year are diagnosed with it. It would be like a person worrying about drowning in the desert...
In contrast, check out "adverse reactions to tetanus shots" on the web.
Vaccines are not harmless and damage your own immune system. Plenty of non-pharma company research on that.
And the incidence is not down due to vaccination, either, unless someone is trying to claim that it's spread by people bleeding all over the landscape.
You have way higher odds of getting an STD than tetanus. - thenoseknows

7)   You can massively reduce the risk of this extremely rare condition by cleaning wounds properly, and not allowing a wound to close until healing has occurred below the skin's surface. Wounds that bleed will never result in tetanus because the tetanus bacillus is anaerobic (survives and grows in environments that have no oxygen). Most cases of tetanus make a complete recovery. What is not advertised is that many of the reported cases of tetanus have been vaccinated.

"The document discusses 124 cases of tetanus reported between 1995 and 1997. Here is what was reported:

Nearly twenty -- five percent (24.8%) of those who contracted acute tetanus had at least one dose of the vaccine and more than twelve percent (12.4%) of the patients were fully vaccinated, with three or more doses of tetanus. Of the 66 (53.7%) people who had an "unknown vaccination status," it could reasonably be assumed that a portion of those had had one or more tetanus shots at some point in their lives. Therefore, statement made by the CDC that "the disease continues to occur almost exclusively among persons who are unvaccinated, inadequately vaccinated or whose vaccination histories are unknown or uncertain" is simply not true."

Question 4
I have leaky gut syndrome?...  i'm 18. i just found out i have leaky gut syndrome. how do i cure it? so far i'm just eating meat & vegetables. i only drink water. i take vitamins & fish oil tablets. is there anything else i should do? how long will it take to heal? i have Celiac Disease, so i can never have gluten again. right now, all i eat is meat & vegetables. not canned vegetables. fresh or frozen. i don't fry my meat. i don't add any seasonings to it. i don't take any medications. i just take vitamins. is there anything else i should be doing? any admonition would be very salutary. thank u for your help. God Bless.

Answers
1)   Butyric acid - google it. Also Aloe Vera, Black Cohosh, Slippery elm.

Edit - Thumbs down person do a little research before you give me thumbs down. Butyric acid has been documented as the best gut healer available without prescription specifically for perforations in the gut. - Ginny Jin

2)   im 14 so............go to a doctor. - Dude Face

3)   I have a similar problem. There is not much else you can really do other than what your doing at the moment. It will take time to heal and you just have to cope the best you can with your diet. Try adding new foods into your diet that you have never tryed before. Also you could try to exercise more and tighten your stomach and back muscles which would help.

You will be fine many people have diet and digestive problems. I can't eat dairy products anymore.

Good Luck :) x - Mel

4)   There's no reason not to use seasonings (as long as they don't have gluten in them). L-Glutamine will help to heal your intestines - you should take a couple of teaspoons every night in warm water just befor eyou go to bed. It is also a good idea to take digestive enzymes, probiotics and a fibre supplement. You can get a great one at www.detoxonline.co.uk - its called Go Daily and it works a treat. It will soothe your ravaged digestive tract, add the fibre back you are missing from grains, introduce both pre and probiotics and it also contains L-Glutamine so its a good option for you. It can take a long time for the gut to heal but as long as you stay away from the problematic foods you should be OK. Exercising your stomach and back muscles won't do anything for the condition. - LillyB

5)   I recently spoke to someone who cured their Celiac disease with Homeopathy after they followed a gluten free diet. She had to sort out her diet before the Homepathy would work, and now she lectures about her experience.
Dr. Tom O'Bryan is considered the world's leading expert on Celiac and gluten intolerance. You can Google his website using his name. Then find yourself a certified professional homeopath. - thenoseknows

6)   You are doing the right things!! (Make sure the vitamins are gluten free-- I use the multivitamin from costco and it says gluten free on the bottle.) The important thing right now is to adapt to the new diet and at the same time start a self education program on foods that are acceptable. It is normal to withdraw from everything you aren't sure of and in many ways the safest. However to make the diet a life long diet, eventually you will want to dine out, eat some seasoned food and maybe even a gluten free pasta or bread.

Right now, you can add fruits to your diet which will give you some more variety and also eggs, rice and potatoes if you need starches. Spices are ok, just steer away from the marinades and rubs until you are up on reading labels.

As far as when you will be better, that depends on how severely your small intestines were damaged before the celiac disease was discovered. But generally, you should feel much better in 2-3 months with healing done within a year. Also remember that slipups are part of the learning curve and don't get down on yourself if you accidentally get glutened. Learn from the mistake and don't chuck the whole diet.

Here are some references that should help you out. - sailor
