Question 2
What is the best way to stop smoking?...  How did you stop this damn habit. Which technique helped you most? Is there any good alternative medicine which will help me to stop smoking?

Answers
1)   it doesnt matter what product you use so much as it matters how many reasons you have to want to quit, the more reasons you have and determination the easier, that being said the thing that helped me the most was the gum, it gives you a good nicotine fix that kinda stings in a good way, i used it for just 3 weeks and was able to quit - liftinguy

2)   The best way is to remove the cigarette from your mouth, throw them away, don't buy more. And refuse cigarettes from others - KingCroesus

3)   I just stopped. Every cigarette you have just extends the addiction. Stay away from people that smoke and try your best not to be in areas that smell like smoke. You will feel sick for a week but it is worth it. I was addicted for 4 years and once i decided i didnt want to smoke and realized the damage it had done, i just stopped. It was hell for a few days, but it was worth it overall. Just be strong and stay away from smokers for a while. - HELP ME

4)   In my opinion, smoking is a self habit...and medicine is just temporary.

Anytime you feel like smoking, chew on gum :] - Skyhigh

5)   I smoked for 20 years and it wrecked my lungs (no cancer thankfully). I got so tired of Mistress Nicotine I just quit. When the going got really tough I used some nicorette gum, but a lot of people can't stand the stuff and if you chew it like regular gum it will make you sick. - Cranky Mechanic

6)   It was really east for me to quit smoking. What I did was smoked my very last cig at night before I went to bed and then when I woke up I didn't smoke at all that day. I haven't smoked since. - Bug

4)   Sounds like just a little stomach bug or you ate something that didn't agree with you. And sounds like you're already getting better, too.

Have you tried eating anything? Even though your stomach HURTS, you should try a few bites of dry toast or saltine crackers. If it stays down (!) have a few more bites. And drink a bit of something, too.

It's entirely normal to have a stomach ache after an episode or two of vomiting/diarrhea. You CAN take Tylenol (or another pain reliever, though Tylenol is usually less likely to CAUSE stomach irritation) for the pain. - *Sombra*

Question 5
an 8 week olo child, who is breastfeeding is constipated...what is an alternative to the doctor?...

Answers
1)   Is the baby only taking breast milk and no other supplements? How often if the baby passing stool? Not all babies poop every day. A baby that is constipated needs to be seen by a public health nurse if you do not want to take it to a physician. There are other ways to stimulate a bowel movement but identifying the reason for the constipation is the first order of business. - Cynthia

2)   veterinarian, i know u think im joking but they know the same things doctors know too. Just ask them, they'll give you an answer. But would you really risk your 8 week old? Just see the doctor bro... - Jake

3)   If you have insurance, they may have a free nurse line you can call. Try calling the customer service number on your insurance card and they can direct you.

Some local hospitals might have free nurse hotlines as well, so you could try that also. - Goldbricker

4)   if there is something wrong with your child then dont even hesitate to go to the doctor. Would you rather it die and you save 100 bucks? How would you feel if you found out your parents didnt take you to the docs while you were an infant when something was wrong with you? And ofcourse how in te world do you know if your baby is constipated? dont they poop like 8 times a day?? - Ted Monroe

5)   What symptoms are you going by the say that the baby is constipated? Is he straining to pass
stool? How many dirty diapers is he having per day? Some babies only stool every 3 days.

One thing you can try is getting a rectal temperature. make sure to use lubricant and only insert the thermometer in the rectum about 1/2 inch. Once it's in, you can wiggle it around a little, then give him a little bit to see if it works. That does work for most babies, especially breastfed ones.

You don't want to give a baby a suppository or enema without consulting a health care provider. Especially in a baby that young it could indicate and intestinal or metabolic disorder. If it is a one-time occurrence, then don't worry, but if is a chronic problem he does need to be seen in a clinic. - twinkiesue
